Award winning independent film and tv company Swift Films produce compelling factual programmes for broadcast and innovative films for business. A recent one-off documentary for ITV and Sky Arts “Graffiti: From Tags to Riches” has been nominated as Television Programme of the Year 2009 at the South West Media Awards. It was the first time the team had shot in HD and it has opened up a number of new opportunities for them. “Race Across America”, a film charting the remarkable journey of cyclist Jim Rees as he attempted to break the British record for cycling over 3000 miles across the USA, was sold to seven countries in Eastern Europe and was acquired by British Airways who now show it on their long haul flights. The company has also diversified into working with businesses; their first commission for a Bristol based recruitment company keeps them busy while they seek to get their next broadcast documentary off the ground.
